Swings, Easter and Ten Months (Almost!)

Last week, (before all the snow storms hit us!) the weather was perfect, so we walked to our neighborhood park. We went after church on a Sunday, which is the best time to go in Utah!! Cam was a big fan of the swings.

Look how long her hair was (we got it cut last Tuesday... 2 haircuts before 10 months old.. geez)

So much fun!

Check out all the teeth!! She's got SIX now. The top 4, and still just the 2 on the bottom.

For Easter, the "Easter Bunny" got Cam a bubble blower, because he knows how much Cam's mom HATES when little kids want to blow bubbles by themselves with the wand, and it turns into a huge mess.

He also got her some books with a fuzzy spot. She loves these! I thought the bubbles would be her favorite, but the books took that prize!

The Easter Bunny also filled 3 eggs with Cam's favorite treats: Baby Goldfish, Cheddar Baby Puffs, and Apple-Strawberry Puffs.... YUM!! She loved taking an egg in each hand and smashing them together. Oh, and shaking them. She got a kick out of that.

So this is the ONLY picture we got of her face, (because in all the rest she was checking out her loot and would NOT look at the camera...) and it's BLURRY!!! Oh well...

Some 10 month highlights:

*Loves lasagna

*Says: Mom, MaMaMa, DaDaDa (finally!), tries to say book, tries to say Uh-oh, tries to say Hi (it comes out HhHHHhuuuuuuuHHHHH), and says Boob. Hahaha not kidding on this last one. AND she totally knows what it means. Haha.

*Sleeps 11-12 hours!! Down at 7pm, wakes up between 6-7:30am to eat, and back to sleep til about 8:30 or 9am. We are LOVING this!!

*Still loves her bath. If she hears the water turn on, she crawls as fast as she can to the bathroom.

*Pulls herself up on EVERYTHING.

*Doesn't keep a hair clip in so great right now... Hence haircut #2

*Loves to play with Mom's phone.

*Loves yogurt.

*HATES bananas (unless they are baby food bananas)

*Takes two 90 minute naps every day

*She SCREAMS!!! A blood curdling scream. She does this when she is either really excited about something, or bored.

*She still fits in her 6-12 month pants, dresses, and short sleeved shirts, but I was SO SICK of seeing her in the same clothes, so we washed all her 12-18 month stuff, and I am LOVING it!

K that is all I can come up with right now. Next Friday we leave for a week in Pasadena with Zockolls and my family. We're going to Disneyland, California Adventure, and maybe we'll venture out to the beach (if the weather is kind to us!). Stay tuned in 2 weeks for a post on that!!

9 Months Old + Our Trip to the Zoo!!

This cute girl is 9 months old!!!

Last Thursday, the weather was AWESOME, so we went to the zoo!! Can you see our excitement??

We saw some giraffes... don't mind my squinty eyes... it was sunny!

Cam didn't really take much interest in the zoo animals, so we will be holding off on buying a season pass, but we sure had fun getting out of the house and seeing family! (Cam did however LOVE staring at the carousel.. I promised her I'd let her ride the one at DisneyLand when we go next month!)

Some 9 month highlights:

*Cam can say Mom. She doesn't so much know that I'm her mom, but when she is hurt, or mad that she's in bed, she cries out, "Mom Mom Mom..." Breaks my heart!!

*Cam pants when she gets excited

*She can play peekaboo- pulling a blanket, washcloth, piece of clothing, etc over her eyes when you say, "Where's Camryn???"

*She can eat baby goldfish crackers whole!

*She can pull herself up to her knees, but hasn't figured out how to stand yet

*She crawls EVERYWHERE!

*After 9 MONTHS of wearing a clip in her hair everyday, she has finally realized how to rip it out. NOT my favorite, since she does NOT have a face for bangs... so her long hair falls in her face.

*She eats everything!! Seriously, we went out to sushi on Monday, and Cam ate the crabmeat out of my California Roll. It was a proud moment for me.

*She takes 2 naps a day, and goes to bed around 7 at night.

*She jumps when she hears music.

*She likes to eat books.

*She makes a bitter beer face if you offer her food/drink that she doesn't want.

*Still LOVES baths. When she hears the water running, she crawls as fast as she can to the bathroom.

*She can go forward and backward in the walker our friends loaned us.

*She's usually pretty happy, but is developing a bit of an attitude- if she gets mad, she balls up her fists, clenches her teeth, and grunts/yells at you.

*She gets really excited when she sees Baby Mozart on tv. Too cute!

We can't believe our baby is 9 months old already!!?!? She's getting more fun everyday! We love you Cram!

Cram is Eight Months!!

How cute is this little monster?? (I call her monster b/c she only napped for 45 mins today. BOO!)

Cam is learning to crawl!?! Not so great at going forward, but she is a pro at the backwards crawl. Rich always tells her to "throw it into drive!!" haha.

Haha mid-playing, she looked up and saw her ABC sing-along DVD was on, so she stopped and watched for a bit.

And here is Cam's favorite trick. It's pretty entertaining, and she usually does it on command (as long as you screech at her first).

Some fun things about our favorite girl:

*She has 3 teeth!! The two bottom front ones, and the top right front one just poked through yesterday.

*She is tall!?!? 95th percentile for height. (75th for weight, and 50th for head)

*She LOVES people food- (and baby food too!) she pretty much eats off our plates.

*She shakes her head no. Haha, I don't think she really knows what it means, but she will randomly shake her head when you ask her a question. It's pretty funny.

*She is a great sleeper (usually isn't awake for the day til 10am!)

*She blows raspberries.

*She still loves the bath.

*She claps whenever you say "Yay!!" I LOVE this one. So cute!

*She LOVES music.

*Nicknames: Cam, Cram, Cramryn, Booger Baby (she's been sick...), Baby Girl, Cramen, Camen....you get the idea.

*She loves her Daddy, and reaches for him when he comes through the door.

*If she wants you to pick her up, she'll crawl/scoot over to you and raise one arm so you'll hold her.

*We haven't figured out how to get her to last through 3 hours of church. She won't fall asleep at church, but she is usually ready to go down for a nap during. So we usually suffer through 2 hours of her being wiggly and whiny, and then there is no way she'll survive the last hour. SOO annoying!

*She wears 6-12 month clothes, doesn't really fit into any shoes (except the cute shoes I make her!! Pattern bought from here.)

*She is still such a happy girl!! Pretty much just goes with the flow- we love our little Cramryn!

Cute Cousins!

We were so excited that Zockolls came for a visit last weekend!! How cute are these babies on their lunch date??? Can we say, kissing cousins?!?

My baby is almost 8 months old- better post and more pictures coming soon.

Playtime + Cam's First Haircut!!

Cam got these busy balls for Christmas, and she LOVES them. So cute! Ps... She looks so grown up in this picture...

Look at that stinking cute cape!!! We took her to a place here in Bountiful called Cookie Cutters. It was so cute- Rich was in charge of pictures.... and he didn't get a good shot of what Cam's sitting on!! It was a little pink car!! So cute- it had a steering wheel she kept trying to grab onto. Also, at each station there was a TV and you got to pick what movie you wanted to watch! Cam chose a Baby Einstein DVD.

What a pro- she just sat there like a big girl, watching her show.

Not even a blow dryer phases this kid (maybe because I've been blow drying her hair since she was 3 1/2 months old!). The hair dresser was very impressed. She also commented on how much body Cam's hair has already. Sorry Cam... I promise I'll buy you a hair straightener.

Christmas (and Cam is Seven Months!)

We went to Vegas for Christmas (like we usually do) and since this was the first time we've all been together in 2 years, we took some cute family pictures!!!

And now, on to Cam's highlights:

*She weighs 19 lbs!!!!

*She is still a happy kid! (She gave us a scare on my birthday, where she was NOT pleasant. She fought her naps and in 8 hours only slept 20 mins! We feared our sweet baby had left us forever!)

*She loves table food more than baby food. Her favorites are broccoli, pasta, mashed potatoes, breads, and tomatoes.

*She sleeps without being swaddled!!! Yay!!!

*She is a professional sitter now- and LOVES to play with her toys.

*She is getting interested in crawling, but scoots backwards.

*Still loves bath time.

*Loves reading books, but wants to chew on them.

*Loves being in the car.

*Loves watching me put make up on. (What a girl!)

*Has renewed her love for "Love Bug." (This toy we got at my CA baby shower. You press a button and it plays Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and the cheeks light up and flash red...) She smiles like CRAZY for it, and then chews on it.

*Likes to look at herself in the mirror.

*Likes when you pretend to drop her.

*Rarely laughs. Smiles all the time, but laughter is very rare.

*And last, but not least, she is still a super napper. Yay for this!!

We are so in love with this girl!!! She is so much fun, and getting more fun every day!!!
