Most Recent Appointment...

So today I went in for my last bi monthly midwife appointment. I am now going EVERY SINGLE WEEK!?!?!??!!? Oh man, this has gone by too fast!! Rich and I can't believe that we are going to have a BABY in our house soon...!?! Yikes.

Ok, so I met with Bridgette, and everything is looking good. I only gained ONE pound these past 2 weeks!! (A personal best!) Bringing my grand (or should I say grande??) total to 145. Heart is still going strong... (she's been in the 140s since my first appointment) she's still posterior, but what did I expect?? I have not once crawled on my hands and knees. My gut measured at 37 cm (which is like a week and a half ahead of schedule) but they didn't seem concerned, so I guess I shouldn't be. I just hope it's not an indication of a MASSIVE baby!! *Ouch!!*

35 Weeks... and ready to burst!!!

So there it is. I feel like I am smuggling a basketball!!! I don't really have much to report, except I am STILL waiting on the crib I ordered in FEBRUARY to arrive, I am getting more and more uncomfortable with every minute, and I have my next appointment on Tuesday!! After Rich took this picture, he looked at the screen on the camera and said, "wow, it's a big one." haha Nice huh?? So there you have it. Hopefully this will be my LAST gut shot. (I've been posting every 5 weeks, and I wouldn't mind it at all if Miss Camryn decided to come before I hit week 40!) Wish me luck!! XOXO

My Posterior Post...

Ok, so I forgot to post about my last midwife appointment (almost 2 weeks ago..). Nothing too exciting. I weigh 144, heart is beating, yadda yadda yadda. Newest development, she thinks Camryn might be posterior. I am not too stressed about it, but people are starting to share horror stories about how awful labor is with a posterior baby. (Nice, huh?) I was given some "homework" (things to google) and I found out I am supposed to spend 30 mins per day crawling around on my hands and knees to try to encourage her to flip. So far, I have been slacking on this.... (I know, I know... I should just do it, but 30 mins is a LONG time to crawl around!) Any suggestions???

Next appointment is on Tuesday. Maybe I will get there and learn she has flipped?? (Keep your fingers crossed for me!) I think after this appointment, I start going every week!!?!?!?

Ode to My American Idol Eye Candies...

I must confess. I seem to fall in lust every season I watch!! (I have only watched the past 3 seasons...) Here they are:

Brandon Rogers. The first time I watched AI, I developed a soft spot for this man. He is much.... (how do I say this so it remains PC??) darker than I usually go for.. (haha) But I could not stop staring at him. I almost cried when they kicked him off the show. Yeah, he wasn't the best singer... but there was something about him that just worked for me.


David Cook. Aka...My boyfriend. *Sigh* It's lucky for him that I'm married. Or I might move to L.A. and spend my days stalking him. So pretty. I told Rich if our baby was a boy, I might have named him David Cook Andelin.


Kris Allen. I have to admit, I had no idea who he was until the top 36. But he has become my favorite this season. I thought Danny would be my boy, b/c I loved him during Hollywood week, but Kris has totally become my favorite. I would love it if he won. He's so adorable! I just want to squeeze him!!

So there it is. My guilty pleasure. I would say "don't tell my husband..." but unfortunately he already knows.

Car Seat Cover!!

So after months and months of searching for the perfect fabric (and in CORDUROY!) I found it!! I quickly mailed it down to my mom in CA, and this crafty gal made the cutest car seat cover around!! Camryn will be one stylish girl!!!






I am seriously so in love with this cover, and so excited to be able to use it soon!!!

On Sunday, Rich's friend from work, Tommy took some pictures of us! He is trying to build up his portfolio, and we were so excited when he asked us to pose for him! We haven't had nice pictures taken since our wedding! His computer is in the shop, so he was only able to post 3 pictures so far, but we can't wait to see the rest!

This B&W one is my favorite of the three I've seen. Check out that huge gut!!

I wish I knew what I was saying when this was taken... If I didn't have a "mid-sentence" look on my face, I'd like it a little more!


Hahaha... Ok, so for this picture, Tommy yelled out, "give me your most excited look ever!" Of course Rich just smiled normal (*he's so boring!) while I look like a complete idiot. Haha. K, well when we have more to show, I will do a bigger post!! XOXO

Fun Friday Night with Clark + Nikki!!

(I don't know why all of this is underlined, but it is driving me crazy)

We had a super fun night last night with our good friends Clark and Nikki (soon to be married this June!). Nikki is living in Provo and going to BYU, and Clark is finishing up school in CA, so we hardly get to see these guys!! We started the night by going to one of our favorite places, Yogurt Stop, and getting some delicious Boba... MMM!


After Boba, we headed back to our place for the fastest game of Clue ever. I'm not kidding, Clark figured it out on his second turn. (hmm.. the underlining disappeared....???)


So we decided to play a slightly longer game. Which was going great, until we decided to make up our own spelling of words to make sure they landed on the "good" squares. I think the best was when Clark added an L to one of Rich's words, making "lzealous." haha.


After Scrabble, we dusted off our PS2, and played some of this:



It has been MONTHS since we have played this, and I must admit, I was a little rusty!! All in all, we had an awesome night!! Thanks for driving up to visit us you guys!! XOXO

My Trip to Provo

Yesterday I started the day with my bi-monthly midwife appointment in SLC. Things are looking good. I weigh an even 140...(which Rich was kind enough to point out is only 35lbs less than he weighs). After that I headed down to Orem to visit with my friend Michelle and her cute baby Garret! Then I went on to Provo to hang out with Rich's cousin Kathleen for a few hours, and we stuffed our faces on some of this: (I got a turkey bacon avocado on focaccia... delish!!)



We went to run a few errands together, and then at the end of the day treated ourselves to a little shave ice from the Malt Shoppe... SO so so good (even with cold weather outside!).


The main reason I went down to Provo was because I was invited to an Usborne book party by JD's cute wife Jamie (I would put a link to them, but their blog is private!). To get in the spirit of having a baby girl come into our house soon, I got 2 books:

I am so excited to get these!! Hopefully Camryn will like them too!! (Unless we end up with a tomboy... then I will have to get some truck books or something. haha!)
