LOST Finale!! (+ Cute Cam)

The time has come to say goodbye to our favorite show. What better way than to drive down to Vegas for a finale party?? Our car was having some major issues on the drive from Bountiful to Provo, (we went 50 miles and used up a half of a tank of gas!) so we rented one of these beauties. A Kia Rio. This car had the bare minimums. No automatic door lock, crank windows, manual side mirror adjusting, no cruise control... But it did have Sirius Satellite Radio (???).

So the weather was NOT cooperating. There was some crazy wind and light rain (better than the SNOW Utah got... don't get me started on that one!) so our amazing hosts got a tent!! The show must go on!

We had a CATERED dinner!!! Our hostess Tiffany was on a game show and won a catered meal, so she decided what better occasion to use it on?? It was DELICIOUS!!

11 Months Old!

Our little Cam is a happy kid!

She loves her accessories. (And LOVES to pull them out of her hair!)

She is a bit mischievous.

She likes to crawl EVERYWHERE (don't mind the baby cleavage... this shirt has a weird neckline.)

She loves to stand. She pulls herself up ALL THE TIME.

11 Month Highlights:

*21 lbs 2 oz (75%) 30" tall (95%)

*6 teeth

*waves "hi" and "bye-bye"

*gives open mouth (and tongue hanging out) kisses

*loves music

*she loves books. if you ask her where her books are, she crawls over to them. Her favorite are the Usborne "Touchy-Feely" books, and Five Little Lady Bugs

*she eats EVERYTHING! Last night we went to CPK and got an appetizer that was a cheese bread with a side of tomatoes, garlic, and evoo.. she ate the bread, but was acting like she was not happy with it... so I put a tomato in front of her, and she gobbled it up!! Such refined tastebuds, this one has.

*likes to brush her teeth

She is getting so big!! Can't believe this kid will be ONE next month... Stay Tuned.

The Long Road Home

We went this speed for a few hours.

We passed faith-affirming road signs.

We shared stole blankets.

Oh, and if you look on our camera. We only have 5 pictures from DisneyLand. All from this bread bowl eating session.

Swings, Easter and Ten Months (Almost!)

Last week, (before all the snow storms hit us!) the weather was perfect, so we walked to our neighborhood park. We went after church on a Sunday, which is the best time to go in Utah!! Cam was a big fan of the swings.

Look how long her hair was (we got it cut last Tuesday... 2 haircuts before 10 months old.. geez)

So much fun!

Check out all the teeth!! She's got SIX now. The top 4, and still just the 2 on the bottom.

For Easter, the "Easter Bunny" got Cam a bubble blower, because he knows how much Cam's mom HATES when little kids want to blow bubbles by themselves with the wand, and it turns into a huge mess.

He also got her some books with a fuzzy spot. She loves these! I thought the bubbles would be her favorite, but the books took that prize!

The Easter Bunny also filled 3 eggs with Cam's favorite treats: Baby Goldfish, Cheddar Baby Puffs, and Apple-Strawberry Puffs.... YUM!! She loved taking an egg in each hand and smashing them together. Oh, and shaking them. She got a kick out of that.

So this is the ONLY picture we got of her face, (because in all the rest she was checking out her loot and would NOT look at the camera...) and it's BLURRY!!! Oh well...

Some 10 month highlights:

*Loves lasagna

*Says: Mom, MaMaMa, DaDaDa (finally!), tries to say book, tries to say Uh-oh, tries to say Hi (it comes out HhHHHhuuuuuuuHHHHH), and says Boob. Hahaha not kidding on this last one. AND she totally knows what it means. Haha.

*Sleeps 11-12 hours!! Down at 7pm, wakes up between 6-7:30am to eat, and back to sleep til about 8:30 or 9am. We are LOVING this!!

*Still loves her bath. If she hears the water turn on, she crawls as fast as she can to the bathroom.

*Pulls herself up on EVERYTHING.

*Doesn't keep a hair clip in so great right now... Hence haircut #2

*Loves to play with Mom's phone.

*Loves yogurt.

*HATES bananas (unless they are baby food bananas)

*Takes two 90 minute naps every day

*She SCREAMS!!! A blood curdling scream. She does this when she is either really excited about something, or bored.

*She still fits in her 6-12 month pants, dresses, and short sleeved shirts, but I was SO SICK of seeing her in the same clothes, so we washed all her 12-18 month stuff, and I am LOVING it!

K that is all I can come up with right now. Next Friday we leave for a week in Pasadena with Zockolls and my family. We're going to Disneyland, California Adventure, and maybe we'll venture out to the beach (if the weather is kind to us!). Stay tuned in 2 weeks for a post on that!!

9 Months Old + Our Trip to the Zoo!!

This cute girl is 9 months old!!!

Last Thursday, the weather was AWESOME, so we went to the zoo!! Can you see our excitement??

We saw some giraffes... don't mind my squinty eyes... it was sunny!

Trying to get a shot of the 3 babies was NOT easy, but our designated photographer, Camille sure tried hard!

Cam didn't really take much interest in the zoo animals, so we will be holding off on buying a season pass, but we sure had fun getting out of the house and seeing family! (Cam did however LOVE staring at the carousel.. I promised her I'd let her ride the one at DisneyLand when we go next month!)

Some 9 month highlights:

*Cam can say Mom. She doesn't so much know that I'm her mom, but when she is hurt, or mad that she's in bed, she cries out, "Mom Mom Mom..." Breaks my heart!!

*Cam pants when she gets excited

*She can play peekaboo- pulling a blanket, washcloth, piece of clothing, etc over her eyes when you say, "Where's Camryn???"

*She can eat baby goldfish crackers whole!

*She can pull herself up to her knees, but hasn't figured out how to stand yet

*She crawls EVERYWHERE!

*After 9 MONTHS of wearing a clip in her hair everyday, she has finally realized how to rip it out. NOT my favorite, since she does NOT have a face for bangs... so her long hair falls in her face.

*She eats everything!! Seriously, we went out to sushi on Monday, and Cam ate the crabmeat out of my California Roll. It was a proud moment for me.

*She takes 2 naps a day, and goes to bed around 7 at night.

*She jumps when she hears music.

*She likes to eat books.

*She makes a bitter beer face if you offer her food/drink that she doesn't want.

*Still LOVES baths. When she hears the water running, she crawls as fast as she can to the bathroom.

*She can go forward and backward in the walker our friends loaned us.

*She's usually pretty happy, but is developing a bit of an attitude- if she gets mad, she balls up her fists, clenches her teeth, and grunts/yells at you.

*She gets really excited when she sees Baby Mozart on tv. Too cute!

We can't believe our baby is 9 months old already!!?!? She's getting more fun everyday! We love you Cram!
